Hotels across the country unite in a CSR action together with Hungarian Red Cross – join their action of collecting winter clothes until the end of November!
Every year before Christmas companies as well as individuals try to find their way to give back a bit to the community they live in. 2020 is a very different year for everyone especially for people working in the travel and hospitality industry, our guests stopped to travel, we lost some of our team members due to redundancies within our organizations, but something has not changed: our sensitivity for poverty and our willingness to help.
During the month of November HotelHero CSR Team together with the CSR section of the Hungarian Hotel Association and the Hungarian Red Cross invite you to join their country-wide initiative to collect warm autumn and winter clothes for adults and children in need.
Some of the hotels participating the action offered their spaces and act as “Regional Collecting Points” where the donations can be placed during the week of 23-30 November.
So in case you might have any long time unused warm items still in good and neat condition and you would like to join the initiative, please bring your donation to one of the collecting points which is conveniently close to you.
To help the work of the Hungarian Red Cross please keep the following important points in mind:
- They are collecting ONLY warm autumn and winter clothes this time
- Please bring your donation to the collecting points separated in the following categories: “Men Clothes”, “Women Clothes” , “Children Clothes – Girls”, “Children Clothes”
- The best is to put your categorized clothes in separate sacks and make a clear mark of the name of the category
