The Nutcracker

With the festive Christmas period approaching, what better way to mark the festive season than to take the whole family to see the Nutcracker ballet. Tchaikovsky’s much-loved music is the background to a story which is set on Christmas eve, and the journey of Clara and her Nutcracker to the Land of Sweets.

This ballet was first performed in December 1892 and is still a must-see every year, even to this day. This year we are very lucky to have several options to see slightly different versions of the Nutcracker in Budapest.
